Dr. YACOOB Arshad

Medical Doctor (Internal Medicine)

Dr. Arshad Yacoob is a respected consultant in Internal Medicine, with a comprehensive educational background that includes an MBBS, a Postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes and a Master of Science in Diabetes from the UK.

With 20 years of experience in both public and private healthcare sectors, Dr. Yacoob excels in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension and gastro-intestinal disorders, among others.

Dr. SHIMJEE Suleiman

Endocrinologist

Dr. Suleiman Shimjee is an expert in internal medicine, diabetology and endocrinology. He has an MBChB BAO MRCP(UK), RCP (Endocrinology and Diabetes), MRCP (Endocrinology and Diabetes), FRCP (London). He has 17 years of experience in the UK and trained in diabetes/endocrinology at St. George’s Hospital in London. He has published many articles in international journals and conducted research on osteoporosis and growth hormone. He introduced insulin pump therapy in Mauritius.

Dr. DOOBAREE Rishi Ram

Dr. Rishi Ram Doobaree is a consultant in internal medicine with a rich professional background spanning over 16 years as a practicing Doctor, including more than 9 years as a specialist in Internal Medicine. His commitment to continuous education is demonstrated by his current academic pursuits: an MSc in Endocrinology at South Wales and a Professional Master’s Degree in Diabetes at TECH Technological University, Spain.

Dr. Doobaree holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS, General Medicine) from the University of Mauritius. He has earned certificates from EULAR in Systemic Lupus Erythematous, Rheumatology and Connective Tissue Disease. His expertise is further solidified by an ISTH certificate course on Acquired Platelet Disorders and a Certificate Foundation course in Diabetes from the UK.

Dr. Doobaree has also completed a Diplôme De Formation Médicale Spécialisée (DFMS) in Internal Medicine at Université Victor Segalen, Bordeaux 2, France, along with an Attestation De Formation Douleur at Hôpital Xavier Arnosan, CHU Bordeaux and a Diplôme Universitaire (DU) in Internal Medicine from Université De Victor Segalen, Bordeaux, France.
