Dr. BEEBEEJAUN Haroon

Gynaecologist

Dr. Haroon Beebeejaun is a qualified and recognised gynaecologist and obstetrician. He specialises in the care and treatment of pregnant women, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the female reproductive system, such as infections, cysts, fibroids, endometriosis and cancers. He performs gynaecological examinations, ultrasounds, colposcopies, biopsies and surgical procedures. He is a member of several learned societies and he continuously trains in new techniques and equipment in his field. He is also involved in teaching and research in gynaecology and obstetrics.

Dr. GOWREESUNKER Shyamleela

Gynaecologist

Dr. Shyamleela Gowreesunker is an esteemed consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, boasting an impressive academic record with an M.D. and Ph.D. in her field. Her education was completed at the prestigious St. Petersburg Medical University and Moscow Medical University, where she specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Furthermore, she has enhanced her expertise with a fellowship in Assisted Reproductive Techniques (A.R.T.), positioning her at the forefront of reproductive health services.

With a career spanning over 20 years, Dr. Gowreesunker has garnered a wealth of experience both internationally and within Mauritius. She plays a pivotal role in steering committees for the public sector and NGOs, contributing her knowledge to improve health policies and practices. She is also a respected tutor and examiner at the Nursing School of Mauritius.
