What We Do

Our Intensivist Unit (Intensive Care Unit – ICU) operates 24 hours a day and 365 days a year to provide care for patients who are critically ill or unstable. It has the necessary skills, equipment and facilities to deliver high-quality medical and nursing care.

 

Who Needs It

Patients in need of intensive care may arrive directly from our Emergency Room or may be transferred from other hospital units or surgical wards.

People who may require intensive care can include, but are not limited to:

  • Individuals who have experienced accidents or traumatic injuries such as burns or fractures.
  • Those battling serious infections like pneumonia or sepsis.
  • Patients who have undergone surgery or significant medical procedures.

    We kindly ask you to check with the nurse station before entering a patient's room to ensure their comfort and safety.
